Negroamaro is a native grape of Puglia.  It is a dark skinned grape which produces wine with flavours of dark fruit, spices and often with a rustic earthiness. This richly robed example is from the limestone based Salento region. You will find this red pleases with ample rounded flavours of dark cherry, ripe red fruit, elements of cacao and coffee and a pleasant almond hint on the finish.
